Mayawati Stops Visiting Memorials on Jayantis, Punyatithis
Mayawati, the leader of the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP), has decided to stop visiting important memorials and parks on special days like birth and death anniversaries.
She made this decision because her visits cause a lot of trouble for people due to strict security measures.
In the past, the BSP government built many memorials and parks to honor important social reformers.
Now, instead of visiting these places, Mayawati will pay her respects from her home or the party office.
For Dr. B.R. Ambedkar's upcoming death anniversary, BSP members will gather at two specific places in Lucknow and Noida to pay their tributes.
Mayawati announces she will no longer visit memorials on Jayantis and Punyatithis to avoid public inconvenience.
BSP built memorials and parks honoring social reformers during their government tenure in Uttar Pradesh.
Security arrangements during her visits caused discomfort to followers, leading to the decision.
Mayawati will now offer tributes from her residence or party office instead of visiting memorials in person.
BSP members will gather at Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar Samajik Parivartan Sthal in Lucknow and Rashtriya Dalit Prerna Sthal in Noida for Dr. Ambedkar's death anniversary on December 6.
