Delhi High Court restrains NBFC from using Zepto brand name
Zepto, a quick-commerce platform, has won a temporary legal victory against a financial company called Naman Finlease.
The Delhi High Court has ordered Naman Finlease to stop using the names 'Zepto' and 'Zepto Finance' for their lending business.
Zepto argued that the similar names could confuse customers and harm its brand.
The court also prevented the transfer of the domain name zeptofinance.com during the ongoing case.
The next hearing is scheduled for August 21, with a further injunction hearing on November 30.
