Balochistan Faces Multiple Attacks
In Pakistan's Balochistan province, there were many attacks and explosions in just one day.
These happened in different cities like Quetta, Dera Murad Jamali, and Nokkundi.
Some attacks were done by TTP militants, including a suicide bombing at a security forces headquarters.
Other attacks included throwing hand grenades and setting off bombs on railway tracks.
Two security guards were hurt, and three militants were killed by security forces.
There were also reports of many people being disappeared and killed by security forces and militias.
The explosions and attacks caused fear and panic, and some train tracks were damaged, stopping train services.
The police are investigating, but not all attacks have been claimed by any group yet.
Seven explosions and attacks occurred in Balochistan's Quetta and Dera Murad Jamali over 24 hours, including hand grenades, IEDs on railway tracks, and assaults on police and a construction site.
A suicide bomber attacked the FC headquarters in Nokkundi, and security forces killed three TTP militants in retaliation.
At least six armed attackers entered the FC headquarters after the suicide bombing, and a checkpost in Panjgur was also attacked.
Two security guards were injured, and there were no fatalities reported from the explosions, but 20 extrajudicial killings were confirmed in October.
A human rights report documented 87 enforced disappearances and widespread torture and killings by security institutions and militias in Balochistan.
