Goa Nightclub Fire: ED Raids Linked to Tragedy
A very sad fire happened at a nightclub in Goa, India, on December 6, 2025.
The fire killed 25 people and hurt 50 more.
The nightclub owners, Saurabh and Gaurav Luthra, are in trouble because they didn't follow safety rules.
They even ran away to Thailand but were brought back to India.
Now, the Enforcement Directorate (ED), a special police team, is searching many places connected to the Luthra brothers and other people who might have helped them do bad things.
The ED is trying to find out if the nightclub owners were doing illegal money activities.
They also think some local leaders might have given the nightclub wrong permits.
The nightclub owners had 42 fake companies, and the ED is trying to find out more about these companies.
The fire happened because the nightclub didn't have proper safety things like fire exits and alarms.
The owners are in jail now, and the ED is still investigating.
The Enforcement Directorate (ED) conducted raids on 8-9 premises linked to the Birch by Romeo Lane nightclub fire tragedy in Goa.
The raids targeted the residential and office premises of nightclub owners Saurabh and Gaurav Luthra, as well as former Sarpanch Roshan Redkar and Panchayat Secretary Raghuvir Bagkar.
The ED is investigating a money-laundering network linked to the nightclub's illegal operations, which resulted in a fire that killed 25 people and injured 50 on December 6, 2025.
The nightclub owners had allegedly run 42 shell companies under the guise of their restaurant empire.
