Gen Next Holds Mumbai Counter-Protest as CJP Targets Election Commission
Two groups held protests in Mumbai on Friday.

It wants the head of the Commission, Gyanesh Kumar, to resign.
It also wants a voter-list review process to stop and wants the 2029 election to use voter lists from 2025.
A group calling itself Gen Next held a separate demonstration near Mantralaya.
Its members said they were standing up for the Constitution and disagreed with CJP.
About 150 people took part, and the protest lasted around half an hour.
Police watched the demonstration and worked to keep traffic moving.
