Brahmanandam Says Literature Builds Empathy and Preserves Cultural Heritage

Kanneganti Brahmanandam spoke at a literature festival in Amaravati.

He said books and stories help people understand feelings and learn from earlier generations.

He also said literature helps protect cultural traditions.

Brahmanandam encouraged young people to read more.

He believes reading can grow imagination and help people think for themselves.

The festival ran from October 7 to October 9, 2026, at SRM University-AP.

Writers and other people who work with books took part.

Students also competed in a quiz called Prahelika.
