India Targets Higher Medal Haul on Asian Games Day 11

India is competing on Day 11 of the Asian Games in Aichi-Nagoya.

The team wants to move higher on the medal leaderboard.

India’s first medal of the day was a silver in women’s trap shooting.

Neeru Dhanda, Manisha Keer and Aashima Ahlawat won that medal together.

India won eight medals on Monday, but none were gold.

Gulveer Singh, Murali Sreeshankar and Esha Singh won silver medals that day.

Vithya Ramraj won bronze in the 400m hurdles.

She also broke a national record that had belonged to P. T. Usha for 42 years.
