Chandigarh Sends Back Another Haryana Civil Service Officer
Chandigarh is sending back Haryana state government officers, like Sumeet Sihag, to their home state.
This is happening because of a conflict between officers from Haryana and those working for Chandigarh's local government.
Some officers felt they were not given important jobs or were not treated well, leading them to ask to go back to Haryana.
This follows a similar move 10 days prior with another officer named Dr. Richa.
Important positions have been going to officers from a different group, and some Haryana officers are feeling left out.
New officers from Haryana are being considered to fill the empty positions.
Sumeet Sihag, an HCS officer, was repatriated to Haryana.
Sihag cited personal reasons for leaving the Chandigarh administration.
This repatriation follows a previous one involving Dr. Richa.
A 'cold war' exists between Haryana and Chandigarh cadre officers.
Important roles have been given to Union Territory cadre officers.
