The BJP government claims that the previous TMC and Left Front regimes' policies led to the decline of industries in Bengal due to strikes, syndicate operations, and extortion. They believe their new policies and the Goonda Act will attract investments and revive the industrial sector.
CPM and TMC
The CPM argues that while they welcome industries, the BJP's focus is on protecting capitalist interests and cracking down on Left trade union activities. They claim that the BJP's policies are not genuinely aimed at industrial growth but rather at suppressing workers' rights.
