Border States See Drop in Company Registrations in May
In May, fewer new companies were registered in some border states like Rajasthan and Jammu and Kashmir, compared to the start of the year.
This happened around the time of some regional tensions, but experts think it's a temporary pause.
Although the number of new registrations dipped slightly across the country, it's still doing pretty well overall.
The services sector continues to be a strong area for new businesses, and a growing number of entrepreneurs are using Limited Liability Partnerships (LLPs).
New company registrations in border states decreased in May compared to earlier months.
This drop occurred in Rajasthan, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Gujarat, and Jammu and Kashmir.
Overall company registrations nationwide were also slightly down from April but remained strong.
Experts suggest regional tensions and global economic uncertainty may have influenced the dip.
The services sector accounted for nearly three-fourths of new business registrations.
