Drishyam: The Conclusion Teases Closure And New Possibilities
The Drishyam movies follow Vijay Salgaonkar and his family as they try to escape a crime investigation.
Before the new movie’s trailer launch, journalists visited two Goa places used in the films.
One was an old heritage building shown as police headquarters, and the other was the family’s house in Ucassaim.
The actors and director met the press at the launch.
The filmmakers said this story is meant to bring the Salgaonkar family’s journey to a close.
However, Ajay Devgn said the word “conclusion” does not guarantee that the whole franchise will end.
Director Abhishek Pathak said this film has a different story from the Malayalam franchise’s third movie.
The film is due in cinemas on October 2.
A Goa tour revisited the former Goa Medical College building and Vijay Salgaonkar’s Ucassaim residence.
The trailer launch featured Ajay Devgn, Tabu, Shriya Saran, Jaideep Ahlawat and director Abhishek Pathak.
The makers called the film the saga’s final chapter, while Devgn said the franchise could still continue in another form.
Pathak said he spent more than two years developing a screenplay substantially different from the Malayalam Drishyam 3.
Drishyam: The Conclusion, also referred to as Drishyam 3, is scheduled for theatrical release on October 2.
