Jubilant FoodWorks Outperforms Peers with Delivery Focus
Jubilant FoodWorks, which runs Domino’s Pizza and Dunkin Donuts, is doing much better than its competitors like Devyani International and Westlife FoodWorld.
While other companies are struggling with sales, Jubilant is growing because it delivers food quickly (often in 20 minutes) and offers free delivery.
They also keep adding new menu items and plan to open more stores.
The company’s boss, Sameer Khetarpal, says they focus on speed and value, like adding more cheese and offering late-night food options.
Other food companies hope to recover later this year, but Jubilant is already ahead.
Jubilant FoodWorks reports 9.1% same-store sales growth in Q2 FY26, outperforming peers with flat or negative growth.
The company attributes success to its wide store network, aggressive delivery focus (70-75% of sales), and menu innovation.
Jubilant offers free delivery and aims to deliver orders within 20 minutes, driving over 20% revenue growth in delivery channel.
CEO Sameer Khetarpal highlights operational excellence, late-night food options, and regional menu customization as key strategies.
The company plans to add 1,000 more Domino’s stores in the next 2-3 years, capitalizing on the growing eating-out trend in India.
