DMRC begins Golden Line construction
The Delhi Metro is building a new part of its network called the Golden Line.
This new line will have 8 stations and will connect Saket G Block to Lajpat Nagar.
The work has just started, and there was a special ceremony to mark the beginning.
The Delhi Metro is like a big train system that helps people get around the city quickly.

The Golden Line will feature 8 stations: Lajpat Nagar, Andrews Ganj, GK-1, Chirag Delhi, Pushpa Bhawan, Saket District Centre, Pushp Vihar, and Saket G Block.
This is the first section outside the Phase-IV priority corridors where physical work has started.
