DLF eyes Rs 1 lakh crore sales pipeline, no REIT
DLF is a big company in India that builds homes and offices.
It has a plan to sell homes worth Rs 1 lakh crore over the next five years.
That is a very huge amount of money.
Most of the homes DLF sells now are fancy luxury homes.
The company says young people aged 24 to 35 are starting to buy homes.
People from other countries, called NRIs, are also buying more homes from DLF than before.
DLF will not sell its office buildings to investors right now because it already has plenty of money.
It has Rs 15,200 crore saved in cash.
From 2028, DLF expects to earn much more money when homes people already bought are finished.
The company's shares went up a little bit on the stock market after this news.
DLF Ltd is targeting a sales pipeline of Rs 1 lakh crore over the next 4-5 years, or around Rs 20,000 crore annually.
The company has ruled out a REIT listing of its commercial assets for now, citing a healthy Rs 15,200 crore net cash position.
Around 90 per cent of DLF's new business now comes from luxury and super-luxury housing projects.
NRI purchases have jumped from about 4 per cent of sales in 2022 to 25 per cent in 2025.
DLF expects profitability to nearly double from 2028 as previously sold projects worth around Rs 38,000 crore are delivered.
