PhysicsWallah Plans 200 New Offline Centres by 2028-29
PhysicsWallah is a company that helps students with their studies.
They already have 300 physical centres where students can go to learn.
Now, they want to open 200 more centres by 2028-29, which is about 70 new centres every year.
Each new centre will cost between Rs 2 crore and Rs 2.5 crore to set up.
They have a lot of money from their recent IPO (Initial Public Offering) to help pay for this.
Right now, most of their students are from northern India, but they want to have more students from southern India too.
They are also starting to teach in nine different Indian languages this year.
One of their smaller companies, Xylem Learning, is also growing in places like Kerala and Karnataka.
They want to be a big and trusted brand all over India.
PhysicsWallah plans to open 200 new offline centres by 2028-29, with 70 centres per year.
Each new centre requires Rs 2 crore to Rs 2.5 crore in capital expenditure.
The company will use Rs 460 crore from its IPO proceeds for this expansion.
PhysicsWallah aims to increase enrolment from southern states to 20% within 18-24 months.
The company is launching operations in nine Indian languages and expanding in Kerala and Karnataka through its subsidiary Xylem Learning.
