MLA Releases Water into Jurala Canal for Farmers
A local politician named Bandla Krishna Mohan Reddy opened a water gate in Mahabubnagar.
He did this to give farmers more water for their crops.
He prayed to the River Krishna before turning the gate.
The water will help about 30 lakh acres of farmland.
He told farmers to use the water carefully and grow crops that need less water.
He thanked several state ministers for helping with the water release.
The water will also come from a nearby dam.
The event was attended by many people, including farmers and officials.

This helps farmers grow food for the next two seasons.
