India's EU Trade Shifts with Spain, Germany Growth
India is selling more goods to different countries in Europe.
Spain is buying a lot more from India, with exports increasing by over 56%.
Germany, which is India's biggest market in Europe, is also buying more, but not as quickly.
Belgium and Poland are also buying more Indian goods.
This shows that India is spreading its exports to different European countries.
The countries are also talking about making a special deal to make trade even easier.
This deal could help India sell even more things to Europe, like clothes, medicine, and machines.
India's exports to Spain surged by 56% to $4.7 billion (April-November 2025-26), increasing Spain's share to 2.4% of India's total exports.
Exports to Germany grew by 9.3% to $7.5 billion, maintaining a 2.6% share of India's total exports.
Belgium and Poland showed resilience with exports growing to $4.4 billion and $1.82 billion respectively.
India-EU bilateral trade was $136.53 billion in 2024-25, with the EU being India's largest trading partner for goods.
Ongoing FTA negotiations between India and the EU aim to boost trade despite global economic uncertainties.
