Google May Introduce Live Emergency Video Sharing
Imagine your phone could show the police or fire department exactly what's happening in an emergency.
That's what Google might do!
Right now, if you have a Google Pixel phone, you can record a video and send it to your emergency contacts.
But soon, Google might let you share live video directly with the people who can help you.
This is similar to what Apple already does.
It would let emergency services see what's happening as it happens, which could help them help you faster.
We don't know exactly when it will be ready, but it's looking more likely that it will happen soon!
Google may soon introduce a live emergency video sharing feature for Android phones.
The feature would allow users to share live video with emergency services.
This is similar to Apple's existing Emergency SOS Live Video feature.
Currently, Pixel users can record and send videos to contacts, not directly to emergency services.
The new feature was discovered in the beta version of Google Play Services.
