Police File 1,100-Page Chargesheet in Mumbai Local Stabbing Case

A young man named Mayank Lohar was riding a local train in Mumbai, a big city in India, during heavy rain.

He got into an argument about keeping the train door open while the train was moving.

Sadly, the argument turned very serious, and a 30-year-old man named Roshan Suvarna allegedly hurt Mayank with a knife.

Mayank, who was only 22 years old, passed away because of the attack.

The police arrested Roshan, and he is now in jail while waiting for his trial.

Police have finished a very big report called a chargesheet, which is 1,100 pages long and includes statements from 68 witnesses.

The police are asking the court to hold the trial quickly so the case is settled soon.

They also want a special lawyer, Ajay Misar, to handle the case.

Mayank's father, Ramesh Lohar, wants the person who hurt his son to be punished very seriously.

He hopes the court's decision will remind everyone to respect the law.
