UP CM Warns Mafia, Inaugurates Housing on Recovered Land
Uttar Pradesh's Chief Minister, Yogi Adityanath, opened 72 new homes for families who don't have a lot of money.
These houses were built on land that the government says a criminal politician named Mukhtar Ansari had taken illegally.
The Chief Minister warned that people who steal land or hurt others will have to face serious consequences.
He explained that this land, once taken by criminals, will now be used to house poor families.
This is part of a plan to help people and stop crime.
He also mentioned that the flats are part of government housing schemes and are much cheaper than their actual market price.
One family who received a home said they had been renting for years and are happy to finally have their own place.
The Chief Minister promised more housing schemes for others who applied.
Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath inaugurated 72 flats for Economically Weaker Section (EWS) families in Lucknow.
The housing complex is built on land previously alleged to be illegally occupied by mafia-turned-politician Mukhtar Ansari.
The flats are part of the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Awas Yojana, with each unit priced at Rs 10.70 lakh.
CM Adityanath stated that the reclaimed land will now become homes for the poor, sending a message against mafia activities.
This initiative follows similar projects where land seized from criminals was used for housing.
