MCD Approves 75% Rebate on PM-UDAY Regularisation Charges
The MCD wants people in unauthorised colonies to receive legal property rights.
It approved a rebate of up to 75% on certain fees for making house records official.
People must complete the process by 31 October 2026 to receive the rebate.
The benefit will continue if the government extends the deadline.
Only four main types of charges will now receive the additional rebate.

The Municipal Corporation of Delhi approved up to a 75% rebate on charges for regularising houses in unauthorised colonies under the PM-UDAY Scheme.
The rebate applies to applicants completing regularisation by 31 October 2026, and would continue if the deadline is extended.
The rebate covers Compensatory Regulatory, C&D, Development and Admin/IT charges.
Several other charges, including Permit Fee, Betterment Charge, Levy and Labour Cess, had already been excluded from regularisation costs.
MCD has introduced awareness campaigns and self-assessment certificates through listed professionals to speed up applications.
