JSW Sarbloh Motors and Tomcar to Produce ATVs in India
JSW Sarbloh Motors, part of the JSW Group, is teaming up with Tomcar USA to build special off-road vehicles called ATVs in India.
These vehicles are made for tough conditions and will be used by the Indian Armed Forces, police, and industries.
They'll be built in a factory in Chandigarh, with the first vehicles expected in 2026.
The goal is to make these vehicles in India instead of importing them, supporting the country's efforts to become self-reliant in defense and other strategic areas.
JSW Sarbloh Motors and Tomcar USA will produce all-terrain vehicles in India.
The joint venture aims to develop indigenous tactical mobility platforms.
Production will include the Tomcar TX range of ATVs.
Manufacturing will occur at a facility in Chandigarh.
First units are expected by early 2026, with trials planned.
