Kerala bans political food distribution in hospitals

The Kerala Health Minister, K Muraleedharan, has said that political organizations cannot distribute free food inside government hospitals.

He wants all free food to be given through community kitchens set up by the government.

The minister said that the government is responsible for what happens inside hospitals, not political groups.

Political organizations can distribute food outside the hospitals if they want.

The government will not allow any political activities inside the hospitals, and food should not be given under party banners or flags.

If organizations want to help, they can contribute to the community kitchens.
