OnePlus Officially Runs Out of Phones in Key Markets
OnePlus is a company that makes smartphones.
It became famous for making good phones that cost less than other fancy phones.
Recently, OnePlus decided to stop selling phones in the United States and Europe.
Now, its online stores in the US, Canada, and Mexico are all out of phones.
The websites only still have accessories like earbuds, a phone case, and a stylus.
If you already own a OnePlus phone, the company says it will still help you and send software updates.
But the OnePlus fan forum will close on August 16.
Some phones will start using a different software system made by OnePlus's parent company, Oppo.
OnePlus will keep selling phones in China and India, where most of its customers are.
OnePlus has completely sold out of smartphones and other core devices on its official websites in the United States, Canada and Mexico.
The sell-out comes just over a week after the company confirmed it was exiting the US and European markets altogether.
Devices including the OnePlus 15, OnePlus 15R, OnePlus Pad Go 2 and OnePlus Watch 4 are no longer listed for sale in the US.
Only accessories and audio products remain in stock, such as the OnePlus Buds Pro 3, OnePlus Nord Buds Pro 3 and a OnePlus 13 case.
OnePlus, an Oppo subsidiary, will continue operating in China and India, which account for the bulk of its global smartphone sales.
