CJP Leader Blames BJP Goons for Police Attacks at Jantar Mantar
Abhijeet Dipke is the leader of a small political group called the Cockroach Janata Party.
He said that during a big protest at Jantar Mantar in Delhi, workers from the BJP party attacked police officers.
Dipke thinks the police were hurt by these workers, not by the students who were protesting.
He wants both the police and the students to be treated fairly.
The protest lasted 37 days and asked the government to fire the Education Minister.
Families of injured police officers spoke out, saying the police were hurt and that the police had done a lot of hard work.
Dipke also said that people who break the law should be punished.
He said that people from other states were not involved in the protest in Delhi.
He thinks the BJP is trying to scare people from protesting.
Abhijeet Dipke, founder of the Cockroach Janata Party, claims BJP workers attacked Delhi Police during the Jantar Mantar protest.
Dipke says the police were targeted by BJP goons, not student protesters, and calls for equal treatment of injured police and students.
He criticizes police for alleged excesses and urges that habitual offenders be dealt with by law.
The protest, a 37‑day march at Jantar Mantar, demanded the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and saw clashes with police on July 20.
