Delhi Court Allows 26/11 Accused Rana to Make Phone Calls

Tahawwur Rana, accused in the 26/11 Mumbai attacks, got permission from a Delhi court to make three phone calls this month.

The calls are to his brother to discuss hiring a private lawyer.

The court will record the calls, which must be in English or Hindi, with prison officials listening.

Rana's custody was also extended until September 8th.

Rana is alleged to be connected to David Coleman Headley, a key figure in the 26/11 attacks.
