Survey Reveals Irregularities in PG Medical Student Stipends
Imagine you're a doctor in training.
Some private medical schools aren't paying their student-doctors the money they should.
A survey found that some students get no money at all, some get less than they should, and some even have their money taken back by the school!
This is happening despite rules saying everyone should be paid fairly.
People are now asking the government to do something about it and make sure the rules are followed to ensure fairness.
Online survey reveals stipend irregularities for postgraduate medical students in private colleges.
2,110 students reported receiving no stipend.
4,288 students stated stipends were not equal to those in government colleges.
1,228 students claimed colleges took back stipend amounts.
Survey included 7,901 valid responses from students across 213 colleges.
