Chhattisgarh CM Vishnu Deo Sai Returns to Ancestral Farming Roots

The leader of a state in India called Chhattisgarh is named Vishnu Deo Sai.

He is the Chief Minister, which is like the boss of the state government.

Even though he has a very busy job, he took a day off to visit his old family village.

The village is called Bagiya, and it is in a place called Jashpur district.

When he got there, he ploughed the family farm with two bullocks.

Ploughing means turning over the soil to get it ready for planting.

He also did a special traditional farming activity called 'biyasi', which is used when growing rice.

He said farming is not just a job for him, but a way of life he grew up with.

He believes farmers and farming are very important for the state's success.
