OPmobility Sees Earnings Rise in H1 Due to Cost Cuts
OPmobility, a company that makes car parts, made more money in the first half of 2025.
They saved money by cutting costs, like in their offices and factories.
Their profits went up to 260 million euros, a jump from the previous year.
They also made slightly more money overall, doing better than other car part makers in Europe and Asia.
However, they didn't do as well in North America because some of their customers, like Stellantis, had to stop making cars for a while.
The company's boss, Laurent Favre, said they're still doing well and focusing on making parts for trucks and other large vehicles.
OPmobility, a French car parts supplier, reported increased operating earnings for the first half of 2025.
Operating margin rose to 260 million euros, up from 234 million euros the previous year.
Cost-cutting measures, including reduced administrative and structural costs, boosted earnings.
Revenue increased by 0.4% to 5.96 million euros, exceeding European and Asian automotive production forecasts.
Production stoppages in North America, particularly by Stellantis, impacted performance.
