Jaya Prada, Sridevi: 1980s Bollywood Rivals, Never Talked

Jaya Prada and Sridevi were two of the biggest actresses in India’s film industry during the 1980s.

They acted together in many popular movies, but they never became close friends.

Even when famous actors Jeetendra and Rajesh Khanna tried to make them talk by locking them in a makeup room, they still didn’t speak.

Jaya Prada later said she feels sad that she never got to be friends with Sridevi, who passed away in 2018.

Jeetendra, who worked with both actresses, called them his "bread and butter" and was proud to have them on his films.
