Kerala Speaker Refuses to Reply to Governor's Leaked Letter
The Governor of Kerala sent a secret letter to the Assembly Speaker asking for videos of a speech he gave.
But before the Speaker could even read the letter, the media already had it and told everyone what was inside.
The Speaker said this was very strange and he wouldn't answer the letter because it was given to the media first instead of him.
He also said the Governor's office should check how the letter got leaked.
Kerala Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar sent a confidential letter to Assembly Speaker A N Shamseer requesting visuals of his policy speech.
The media received the letter before the Speaker, which he found ironic.
Shamseer refused to reply to the letter, stating that if the Governor's office wants a response, they should provide the letter directly to him first.
The letter was marked highly confidential and was opened in the Speaker's presence, but the media had already obtained and published its contents.
Shamseer clarified that he was not accusing the Governor of leaking the letter but suggested the Governor's office should investigate how it was leaked.
