Haryana's CCTV surveillance issues 4.8 lakh challans on NH-44
The Haryana Police have been using special cameras and technology to watch cars on a very busy road called National Highway-44.
Over the past year, they have given out more than 4.84 lakh tickets to people who were not following the traffic rules.
This has helped make the road safer by catching people who were speeding or not driving carefully.
The police say this technology has made a big difference in how people drive and has also helped in controlling crimes on the highway.
They want everyone to follow the rules to keep the roads safe for everyone.
Haryana Police issued 4.84 lakh online traffic challans on NH-44 in one year.
The challans were issued from January 25, 2025, to January 26, 2026.
The enforcement was done using CCTV and Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) technology.
