Karnataka Minister Aims to Empower Women with New Initiatives
Karnataka's Women and Child Development Minister wants to help women in the state.
She is planning new programs to make sure women are safe, like a special 'Akka Force' that will patrol public places.
She is also starting a 'Gruhalakshmi Bank' to give loans to women at low interest rates, which will help them with money.
These new plans are part of celebrating 50 years of a program called ICDS, which helps children and mothers.
The minister wants everyone in her department to work together to make these new programs a big success.
Karnataka's Women and Child Development Minister Laxmi Hebbalkar aims to empower women and strengthen her department.
New initiatives include 'Akka Force' for women's safety and 'Gruhalakshmi Bank' for financial support.
The upcoming ICDS Golden Jubilee celebration on November 19 will mark the launch of these initiatives.
Gruhalakshmi Bank will offer loans up to ₹3 lakh at low interest rates and aims to expand statewide within three months.
