Delhi Court Acquits Javed in 2016 Triple Murder Case

A court in Delhi decided that there was not enough proof to convict Javed.

He had been accused of helping plan a 2016 attack in which two women and a girl were killed.

Prosecutors said Javed watched the victims and sent information to Rahisuddin, also known as Haider.

They said Haider planned the murders after a dispute over money and a relationship.

The court said the prosecution did not provide enough evidence to prove Javed was involved.

It also found no evidence that he destroyed a mobile phone or other evidence.

Javed was acquitted.

Haider, described as the main accused, has been absconding since 2022.
