ICSI Marks 58th Foundation Day With Governance Initiatives
The Institute of Company Secretaries of India held a celebration for its 58th birthday in New Delhi.
Vice President C. P. Radhakrishnan attended and said company secretaries help businesses be open and well managed.
Dr. Sonal Mansingh spoke about the importance of guiding oneself and staying committed to goals.
The institute started a new international forum for people who work in governance and compliance.
It also introduced a compliance calendar for small and medium businesses and increased a support fund for company secretaries.
The ICSI gave money to two funds connected with national defence and the armed forces.
It also signed agreements with two organizations to work together for its stakeholders.
The Institute of Company Secretaries of India marked its 58th Foundation Day on October 4, 2026, at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi.
Vice President C. P. Radhakrishnan praised company secretaries for supporting corporate transparency, investor confidence and sound governance.
The ICSI incorporated the International Forum for Governance Professionals to promote global collaboration and knowledge exchange.
The institute unveiled the MSME Compliance Calendar 2027 and raised the Company Secretary Benevolent Fund limit to Rs 15 lakh.
The ICSI contributed Rs 11 lakh to the National Defence Fund and Rs 1 lakh to the Armed Forces Flag Day Fund, and signed two stakeholder-focused MoUs.
