Telangana BJP Accuses Congress of Intimidating Opposition

N. Ramachandra Rao is a leader of the BJP in Telangana.

He accused the Congress government of trying to frighten opposition leaders.

He said Congress leaders attacked the home of BJP leader Nagam Varshith Reddy.

Rao said Reddy’s 62-year-old mother was beaten during the incident.

She was taken to a hospital afterward.

Rao compared the alleged violence with incidents in West Bengal.

He said people in Telangana were unhappy with both Congress and the earlier BRS government.

Rao predicted that the BJP would eventually form the government in Telangana.
