Chandigarh MC Conducts Anti-Encroachment Drive in Sector 34
The city of Chandigarh is trying to keep its parks and green spaces nice and tidy.
On Thursday, the city officials went to a green area near a mall and told people they couldn't park their cars or scooters there.
They gave out tickets to those who were parking illegally.
The city wants to make sure everyone uses these green areas properly and keeps them clean for everyone to enjoy.
The Municipal Corporation (MC) of Chandigarh conducted an anti-encroachment drive on Thursday.
The drive took place in the green belt area opposite Sham Mall, Sector 34.
Enforcement focused on illegal parking of vehicles in the green space.
20 challans were issued to violators, including those with cars and motorcycles/scooters.
The MC aims to enforce discipline and promote responsible civic behavior.
