Lok Sabha Adjourned Till Noon Amid Opposition Protests

Imagine the country's leaders having a big, important meeting called Parliament.

On Friday, the big meeting room called the Lok Sabha had to take a short break until noon.

The break happened because a group of leaders were shouting and protesting without stopping.

They were upset because they think money given to a temple was stolen, and that the answers for a big test called NEET were leaked.

The leader in charge of the meeting, Om Birla, said the protests were not good.

He reminded everyone about the Quit India movement of 1942, a peaceful freedom movement whose anniversary is on August 9.

He said the world looks up to Mahatma Gandhi's teachings of truth and non-violence, and the protesters should follow them too.

He also said the meeting hall is for talking and debating, which is very important for democracy.

This was the 15th time since July 20 that the daily question time could not happen because of the disruptions.
