Giornate degli Autori Unveils Lineup For 22nd Venice Film Festival
The Giornate degli Autori, a part of the Venice Film Festival, is showing off the movies it will feature this year!
There will be 10 films in the main competition, which are from all over the world, including stories about war, family, and remembering the past.
One of the movies is about a girl's childhood during a war, and another is about a woman who had to leave her home country.
Plus, there will be some special events, too.
The festival is set to start at the end of August and go on for about a week.
The Giornate degli Autori, a parallel section of the Venice Film Festival, announced its lineup for the 22nd edition.
The main competition will feature 10 films, including works from Ukraine, Russia, Spain, Kenya, and Iran.
The opening film is Vladlena Sandu's 'Memory', exploring childhood memories amidst the First Chechen War.
Gianni Di Gregorio's comedy 'Damned If You Do, Damned If You Don't' will close the selection.
