BIS Highlights Standards' Role in National Development at AU Event
Imagine a country building things like machines or buildings.
If these things are made well, following the rules of the BIS, the country will be more successful.
A special workshop was held to teach teachers about these rules.
This workshop was put on by a group called BIS and a university in India.
The teachers will learn about all the different standards and how to make sure everything is up to those standards.
The university is also planning to add a class about standards to their courses.
This is important because good standards help everything work better, making things safer and more reliable.
