CBFC Modifies Rahu Ketu Scenes
The movie Rahu Ketu, starring Pulkit Samrat and Varun Sharma, is coming out on January 16.
The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has made some changes to the film.
They removed scenes of drug sniffing, visuals of the middle finger, and names of alcohol brands.
They also asked the makers to replace the famous 'Kantara scream' and to provide proof that a Sanskrit Shloka used in the film is authentic.
The film is about 2 hours and 19 minutes long and has a U/A certificate, meaning it's suitable for viewers aged 16 and above.
The film is a comedy and is produced by Zee Studios and Blive Productions.
Pulkit and Varun are excited to work together again after their previous film, Fukrey.
Rahu Ketu, starring Pulkit Samrat and Varun Sharma, is set to release on January 16 with a U/A 16+ certificate.
CBFC modified scenes including drug sniffing, middle finger visuals, and alcohol brand names.
The iconic 'Kantara scream' was removed due to religious sensitivity concerns.
Filmmakers were asked to authenticate a Sanskrit Shloka used in the movie.
The final runtime of the film is 2 hours, 19 minutes, and 40 seconds.
