Heavy Rain Alert Issued for Seven Madhya Pradesh Districts

Rain is expected in eastern Madhya Pradesh for the next four days.

Seven districts have been placed under a heavy rain alert.

Bhopal may get showers for a third day in a row.

Indore and Ujjain may receive lighter rain.

Several other districts could see moderate or heavy rainfall.

Weather officials say a low-pressure area and monsoon trough are active nearby.

These systems are not strongly affecting the whole state, so some areas have received less rain.

Two dam gates were opened to release extra water, and a man died after being swept away by strong river currents.
