Hyderabad Plots Comprehensive Mobility Plan 2050 for Robust Transport Future
Imagine Hyderabad is getting bigger and more people will need to travel around.
The government wants to make a super-duper plan for how everyone will get from one place to another in the future, even as far as the year 2050!
This plan is called the Comprehensive Mobility Plan, or CMP.
It's like drawing a map for new roads, bus routes, and maybe even trains.
They want to make sure traveling is safe, easy, and doesn't make the city too polluted.
A special company is helping to create the map, and the government is asking different departments, like the police and bus people, for their ideas.
This way, the plan will be really good for everyone and help Hyderabad grow without too many traffic jams.
The Telangana Government has started creating the Comprehensive Mobility Plan (CMP) - 2050 for the Hyderabad Metropolitan Region.
The plan aims to establish a safe, robust, sustainable, and long-term transportation strategy.
LEA Associates South Asia Private Limited has been appointed as the consultant for preparing the CMP.
A stakeholder meeting emphasized the need for cross-departmental coordination and feedback for the draft CMP report.
The CMP 2050 will guide future investments and promote balanced urban development in the region.
