The Velocity Cricket League is a new competition for tennis-ball cricket in India.

It will have eight teams based in different cities and regions.

Each match will have 15 overs for each team.

Players from across the country can attend trials to try to join the league.

Players who pass the trials will be placed in a pool.

The eight teams will then choose players through an auction.

The league is owned by SKV Ventures Pvt.

Ltd.

Winners and strong individual players will share prizes from a Rs 2 crore pool.

The league aims to give tennis-ball cricketers a national platform.
