Railways Update Train Schedules and Water Checks at Kurnool
Indian Railways changed the plans for several trains.
Two special trains between Kanpur Central and Madurai were cancelled on specific dates.
Four other trains will now run at their usual times.
This happened because a planned railway line block was not available.
Travellers should check the latest timetable before leaving.
South Central Railway also checked water at Kurnool City Railway Station.
Workers are testing chlorine levels and looking for harmful bacteria such as E. coli.
These checks are intended to help provide safe drinking water at the station and nearby railway homes.
Indian Railways cancelled Kanpur Central-Madurai special services scheduled for September 30, October 3, 7, 10, 14 and 17.
Four trains will run on their normal schedules after a proposed line block became unavailable.
The affected services include trains between Chennai and Guruvayur, Puducherry and Kakinada, Jodhpur and Mannargudi, and Firozpur Cantt and Rameswaram.
Passengers have been advised to check the latest train status and timetable before travelling.
South Central Railway intensified drinking-water quality checks at Kurnool City station and nearby railway colonies.
