Madhya Pradesh Travel Mart Opens With ₹848 Crore Tourism Deal
Madhya Pradesh held a four-day event to promote tourism.
Chief Minister Mohan Yadav opened it in Bhopal on Wednesday.
He spoke about the state’s culture and efforts to protect wildlife.
He also mentioned the return of cheetahs to the state.
A company and the Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board signed a large tourism development deal.
The plan is to build a golf course, villas, a wellness resort and a hotel in Sehore district.
The project is expected to create 920 direct jobs and hundreds of other jobs.
More agreements and awards were announced for tourism projects across the state.
Chief Minister Mohan Yadav inaugurated the four-day, seventh Madhya Pradesh Travel Mart in Bhopal on Wednesday.
Yadav highlighted Madhya Pradesh’s cultural heritage, wildlife conservation and cheetah reintroduction.
The Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board and ARM Foods Pvt Ltd signed an agreement worth ₹848.40 crore for a golf course, villas, wellness resort and luxury hotel in Sehore district.
The Ramgarh project is expected to create 920 direct jobs, alongside hundreds of indirect opportunities.
Twelve agreements were signed, and Letters of Award worth ₹252 crore were handed over for 14 tourism projects.
