Pakistan, Uganda Athletes Missing After Commonwealth Games 2026

Every few years, athletes from many countries gather to compete in a big sports event called the Commonwealth Games.

This year, it happened in Glasgow, Scotland.

When the games ended on August 2, most athletes went home.

But a few did not.

A boxer from Pakistan named Qudratullah went missing.

Four boxers from Uganda also did not get on their team bus to the airport.

Police in Scotland are now looking for them.

Some reports say the athletes may have wanted to stay in the United Kingdom.

One boxer had left his passport with his team manager, so no one knows how he could have left.

Pakistan's team still had one happy moment: a woman boxer named Fatima Zahra won a bronze medal, their only medal at these games.
