Pakistan Detains 40 Undocumented Afghan Nationals

Pakistan has detained 40 Afghan nationals who were living in the country without proper documents.

These people were taken to a holding center in Peshawar and will be sent back to Afghanistan through the Torkham border.

The Pakistani government is doing this to follow their immigration rules.

Last week, 525 Afghan families were also sent back to Afghanistan from refugee camps in Bannu.

The government has set a deadline of July 10 for all undocumented Afghans to leave the country or face arrest.

The authorities are working with local police to find and deport these individuals.

Afghan families who want to return voluntarily can stay at temporary centers until they are taken to the border.
