PM Modi Advocates Ethical AI Models at Roundtable
Prime Minister Narendra Modi had a meeting with 12 Indian AI startups.
He said that India should create AI models that are fair, transparent, and respect privacy.
He wants these models to be unique and support local languages and content.
The startups are working on many different AI projects, like healthcare, language models, and creating 3D content.
They all agreed that India is becoming a big player in AI.
The Prime Minister also said that these startups are very important for India's future.
He wants India to lead the world in making AI that is affordable and inclusive.
A big AI summit will be held in India next month where these startups will show their work.
PM Modi chaired a roundtable with 12 Indian AI startups ahead of the India AI Impact Summit 2026.
He emphasized that Indian AI models should be ethical, unbiased, transparent, and based on data privacy principles.
Modi suggested that Indian AI models should promote local and indigenous content and regional languages.
The startups are working in diverse areas including healthcare, multilingual LLMs, and generative AI.
The Prime Minister described startups and AI entrepreneurs as the co-architects of India’s future.
