Seawoods Miyawaki Forest Thrives, Transforming Barren Land
Imagine a dusty, empty lot becoming a lush, green forest!
That's what happened in Seawoods, Navi Mumbai.
Green Yatra, with help from ONGC, used a special method called Miyawaki to plant lots of trees close together.
In just a short time, over 3,500 trees grew tall, creating a home for birds and butterflies.
The air feels fresher, and the neighborhood looks beautiful.
This forest shows how we can bring nature back to the city, making it a better place to live!
A 3,500-tree Miyawaki forest has transformed a barren area in Seawoods.
The project was led by Green Yatra with support from ONGC.
Over 45 native species of trees have grown rapidly.
The forest provides daily employment and attracts biodiversity.
The project aims to improve air quality and create a thriving ecosystem.
